In 1822 the Ward farmstead was settled, tended to and then expanded by a family of 13. Over the years, this farm land has been rented out to conventional farmers but Northwest Ohioan and Ward family descendant, Angela Huffman, has other plans. Wide-Awake Farm is her vision of a diversified, regenerative, and family farm, raising organic vegetables and a flock of pastured, heritage breed Buckeye hens.
Initially, this project was brought to us as "The Old Ward Farm". As we worked through concepts with Angela, we concluded that the new name that she'd been thinking of, "Wide-Awake Farm" was the perfect fit for her 6th generation woman-owned organic farm. The main goal of this branding project was to create and appealing 21st century branding system with the charm of its 19th century roots.
